Dim Sum Diaries
Things have been slightly busy lately. I don't know why I've been so tired, or why I tire so easily, rather. But let us instead focus on what I find interesting of late:

Watched the season finale of The West Wing last Sunday, and was a bit teary eyed over it. The things that were supposed to happen did happen. Josh and Donna are together (as equals), CJ and Danny are as well. I will probably end up getting this season on DVD when it comes out. NBC previewed Sorkin's new show, Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip. Here is an early draft of the pilot episode if you are a die hard like I am. :)

Have recently discovered a new romance author which I find quite funny and refreshing. I was reading an anthology, The One Who Got Away, and Liz Carlyle's novella caught my eye. It had a bit of the Jane Austen and Stella Gibbons thing going on. I found myself laughing all the way through it. Here's an excerpt:

Sophie looked up to see her aunt Euphemia framed in the open door, and behind her, their butler, Travers, his expression apologetic. Euphemia wore a lavendar turban so lavishly befeathered that it looked as if she'd left a whole flock of denuded peacocks somewhere in east Hampshire. Her avian masterpiece was paired with a carriage dress horizontally striped in gold and puce. Had they actually been blood kin, the mystery of Will's color blindess might have been solved.

Have been expanding my musical tastes a bit (from pure easy listening...love songs for the win baby) to include A Perfect Circle. Don't know much about the band yet (as have not yet explored it much yet, but I really have been enjoying one of their songs, Pet. There is a cooler, starker version with a drum thumping opening, but I haven't been able to find that version yet. Cary (GM of my WoW guild) has taken to playing it during raids, its not too bad. Also, this video is quite hilarious.

Anyways, off to sister's house to celebrate her 31st birthday tomorrow. Should be lots of fun. :)
